About Volvo 940
Volvo 940/960 was a development of the 700-series when it was presented to the market in 1991. The changes were subtle and mostly cosmetic, and the shape was still unmistakably Volvo-ish, with boxy lines, rear wheel drive and the engine in front.när den lanserades 1991. The 940 model had four cylinder engines with or without turbochargers, while the 960 was equipped with straight six-cylinder engines or a turbocharged four-pot. The last cars, sold in 1998 as 940 Classic is by many seen as the last real Volvos.
